Training built around real situations

At Fundorento we work from a straightforward premise: professional skills are best learned by practising them, not by reading about them. Every programme starts with an intake conversation where we map your current situation and what you want to develop. That information shapes the content of your training directly.

Sessions are kept small deliberately. When a group has six to ten participants, feedback is specific and the learning environment stays focused. Trainers draw on professional experience across sectors including finance, technology, healthcare, and public administration.

Four areas of professional growth

Each training area addresses a specific dimension of professional effectiveness. They can be combined into a tailored development path.

Participants practising presentation skills

Presentation Techniques

From structuring an argument to managing nerves in front of an audience. We work with video feedback, live practice rounds, and structured peer review so you can see exactly where your delivery is strong and where it can sharpen.

Communication Skills

Clarity in written and spoken communication. How to frame a message for different audiences, manage difficult conversations, and listen in a way that builds trust.

01

Professional Networking

Networking is a learnable skill. We teach specific approaches for building genuine professional relationships, following up effectively, and making the most of industry events.

02

Certification Programmes

Structured programmes that combine multiple training modules into a recognised credential. Useful when career advancement or a role change requires documented evidence of competency.

How a training actually works

Trainer conducting intake conversation with participant

The intake conversation

Before any training begins, every participant has a one-on-one intake conversation with their assigned trainer. This is not a formality. It is a working session where we identify the specific situations where communication or presentation is currently causing friction, and what a successful outcome looks like for you personally.

The intake typically takes 30 to 45 minutes and shapes the emphasis of the programme directly. Two people attending the same workshop may have very different focal points as a result.

Practice in a safe environment

The sessions themselves are structured around doing rather than watching. Participants present, negotiate, network, and give feedback in a setting where making mistakes is part of the process. Video recording is used in presentation training so participants can observe their own delivery with the trainer.

  • Roleplay and simulation exercises
  • Video feedback on delivery
  • Peer observation with structured feedback
  • Real-world scenario work

Applying it at work

Between sessions, participants receive assignments that connect training content to their actual work. These might involve preparing a presentation for an upcoming meeting, practising a specific conversation approach, or attending a professional event and applying networking techniques from the session.

At the end of a certification programme, participants submit a portfolio of completed assignments. This is what the certification is based on, not a written exam.

Free intro

"The most effective professional development is built around the situations you actually face, not around a generic curriculum."

This is the principle behind every programme at Fundorento. When a participant joins a workshop on presentation skills, the practice scenarios are drawn from their sector. When a team attends in-company communication training, the cases are built from challenges their industry recognises. Generic content gets generic results. Specific, contextualised practice transfers to real work.

Not sure where to begin?

The free introduction session is a 45-minute conversation with one of our trainers. No commitment, no sales pitch. Just a clear picture of which programmes are relevant for your situation.
